This is how Belgium was represented at FITUR, Madrid, last week.
The goal of this show is to attract visitors. But the image we gave from Belgium was absolutely pathetic.
On the one side there was a booth of Walonia, and on the other side there was a booth of Flanders. And between them there was the booth of Georgia (!). So who is going to visit a country that is so divided that they cannot even organise 2 booth next to each other?
And the most ridiculous thing of all was the fact that both booths were claiming Brussels. What a way to mess up our image abroad.
